We all know that, Windows 11 is the latest operating system from the Microsoft. The Initial release date of Windows 11 was on 5 October 2021. If you will ask me which Windows is better? then my honest answer will be its up to the requirement of the user. You choose something not just because it is new or latest. But in fact it ultimately comes to the requirement that particular user have.
In this post I have done comparison between Windows 11 and Windows 10. Mostly I will talk about Windows 11 as it is most recent operating system. So, without any delay let’s jump into details.
If you are running Windows 10 on your PC and want to upgrade to Windows 11, then the problem can be the system requirements. In order to run Windows 11 you should have latest processor in your system with TPM 2.0 support.
You might think what is TPM? TPM is an acronym for Trusted Platform Module. It is hardware security processor available on modern PCs. Moreover, Windows 11 can be installed on unsupported hardware but it will give watermark on screen. However, doing so is not recommended.
In case your PC supports Windows 11 and you want to upgrade from Windows 10 then steps are simple. But make sure to not use the malicious Windows 11 OS. As it can create problems in future. For windows 10 there is no such strict requirement.
If you care about performance a lot, then Windows 11 will be your first choice. As per the Microsoft, Windows 11 performs a lot of memory management to those app which is open and running in the foreground.
This provides more CPU power to the foreground running apps over other system resources. Moreover, Microsoft even showcased this, under 90% CPU load, the Excel app opens with speed on Windows 11 no matter how much the CPU is busy.
Such feature is absent on Windows 10.
Design And Interface:
In comparison to Windows 10, Windows 11 has got completely different look. Like in Windows 11 OS has more Mac-like interface. In addition to that the Start Button is positioned to the center of the taskbar. However, if you wish you can bring it to the left of the taskbar just like it is in Windows 10.
Android App Integration:
One can access to the Android App directly on Windows 11 from the Microsoft Store. If you are running Windows 10 or any Operating System it does not matter. You can still run android on your PC without emulator. Want to know how click here. In case you want to run Android apps on Windows 10 you can do so by installing Bluestacks emulator.
Improved Virtual Desktop Support:
On Windows 11 setting up virtual desktops is more or less similar to Mac. As it gives ability to switch between various desktops at once with ease. Doing same on Windows 10 was somewhat difficult.
If you are using Microsoft office on your Windows PC then you might be familiar with Microsoft Teams. This application is added directly into the taskbar of Windows 11. This further makes it easy to access. Moreover, Teams can be used from Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.
Improved touchscreen, voice, and pen support:
According to Microsoft, it has improved the experience for touch on tablets. Moreover, the space between icons present on Taskbar is sufficient. Also, there is support for gestures.
Furthermore, haptics is added to the digital pen. This haptics feature enables you to feel as well as hear vibrations whenever you take notes or draw something.
Features of Xbox consoles like Auto HDR and DirectStorage is present on Windows 11. This ultimately contribute towards better gaming on Windows 11 PC. So far DirectStorage is not present on Windows 10 and will not get the feature as well.
