Securing your web pages in incognito mode has gone to another level. The Chrome browser is getting an update for those smartphones which have Android OS in them. The special thing in this update is that you can secure all your incognito tabs in chrome with the help of your fingerprint.
Furthermore, if you will notice, this feature is somewhat like the iOS feature of 2020 in which Google has given biometric lock support for the Drive app. After getting this update, you will remain worry free even if somebody is trying to snoop your incognito tabs on the smartphone.

In addition to that, according to 9To5Google After when you will leave the incognito tabs, what chrome will do, it will lock those incognito pages with the help of fingerprint.
You can use Both Fingerprint and PIN as a Password
Whenever, you will restart your browser to access those incognito tabs you will be prompted with a grey screen having “Unlock Incognito” button at the bottom of the screen. In order to reopen those tabs, you will be required to authenticate with your fingerprint, and that can be done by tapping on the “Unlock Incognito” option. After successful verification you can view your web pages.
Apart from that, you will be also having the option of unlocking the web pages with a PIN, by selecting “Use PIN” option to protect the incognito tabs. Furthermore, this will not be enabled automatically, but instead you must go to the app’s Privacy and Security settings. In which you will get the option named” Lock Incognito tabs when leaving Chrome”.

This is indeed a useful feature if you don’t want that someone opens your private tabs accidentally or intentionally on your phone. What are your thoughts about this privacy feature of Chrome app? Mention down in the comments below.
